One room, one rail, a mirror
We are a small studio in Los Angeles. The OYOANGLE range you see here, 1,064 pieces across 11 rails, comes out of one room with a cutting table down the middle and samples on every surface.
The work starts the same way every time. Somebody wants a shape she cannot buy. We cut one in the real cloth, not a cheap stand-in, because a toile lies about how a fabric falls.
Then she wears it. For a week, to work, to dinner, through a wash. Most of what we learn arrives in that week and none of it shows up on a hanger.

What we changed after the first year
The first rail was tops, because a top forgives a mistake and a dress does not. We waited until year three before we cut a dress properly, and the first ten were too long by an inch across the board.
We learned to write the notes down at that point. Not the marketing line, the awkward part: this one is sheer, this one has no give, this hem sits lower than the photograph suggests.
Those three notes are now on every piece. 37 of ours have no stretch. 89 are sheer. We would rather you know before the box arrives.

What we are not
We do not run a sale season, we do not print a was-price and there is no code to look for. What a piece costs is on its card.
What we can tell you is what the cloth does in a week of ordinary wear, and that is what the notes are. Anything past that would be guesswork with a nicer font.
