In the studio we cut this trench short so the hem lands at the hip, not the calf. The fabric holds its shape through the double-breasted front and the lapels, and the belt pulls it in where you want it. It has some give, enough to sit and reach without fighting the seams. The cotton blend is not heavy, so it will not carry you through a real winter.
