This shape we made these as a wider take on the harem shape, with the thigh room kept generous and the ankle pulled in so the leg reads long instead of slouchy. The waistband gives, and the pockets sit on the side seam where a phone actually rests without printing through. They will not look right on a shorter inseam, where the volume stacks at the ankle and the proportions fall apart.
